The United Neighborhood Organization (UNO) is a non-profit organization committed to empowering Chicago Hispanics through advocacy, parent involvement initiatives, and through its operation of the UNO Charter School Network. Today, UNO manages 14 charter schools in Chicago and thus serves as the second-largest charter holder, the largest direct-service charter school management firm in Illinois, and one of the largest Hispanic-based charter managers in the nation.
